Milton Centennial Pool:

- Family Swims/1 Lane Swim – Mon, Wed & Fri 6-7 p.m. $2/person or $6/family of 3+. An Adult family member must be present.

- Aqua Aerobics – Mon, Wed & Fri 7–8 p.m. $3/person or $55/person/season.

- Public Swims – Mon-Fri 2-4 p.m. and Sat 1:30-2:20 p.m. $3/person, $8/family of 3+, $75/person/season or $160/family/season.

- Lifesaving Society Programs For those who have completed Level 10 swimming lessons and are under the age of 13, Bronze Star is a course to challenge your abilities and give you a chance to see if you would like to become a lifeguard. North Queens Aquatic Centre:

Roller Skating/Rollerblading at Queens Memorial Arena. $1/person at door. Teens - August 13th 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., Family Aug 15th 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Proper gear must be worn by all participants and players are responsible for bringing their own gear (no protective gear provided). Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Seniors Day in the Park – Wednesday, August 4, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Brooklyn Marina Park. Rain location – Brooklyn Baptist Church Hall. FREE!

Yoga for Kids – Aug 9, 11 & 13 at the Dr. John C. Wickwire Gym. Ages: 5 – 8 years from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Ages: 9 – 12 years from 10:15-10:45 a.m. Cost: $15/person for 3 days. Preregister by Aug 2. Mats will be provided. Space is limited.

Youth Archery Day – Aug 11 at the Queens Archers Assoc. Field. 1-3 p.m. Ages: 8 16 years. $8/person. Preregister by Aug 3. Space is limited.

3 Day Basketball Camp – Aug 16-18. Multi-Purpose Court, Port Medway. 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Ages: s7-15 years. $12/personf or 3 days. Pre-register by Aug 9.

1 Week Summer Dance Camp – Aug 16-20 at the Greenfield Recreation Centre. Times given after registration. Ages: 3 years – teen. Cost: $30-$35 (depending on age_. Pre-register by Aug 9. Space is limited.

End of Summer Picnic in the Park – Aug 25 from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at Privateer Park, Liverpool. Everyone welcome! Free! Rain date: Aug 26. Supper will not be provided, please bring your own picnic.

Queens Memorial Arena

The Queens Memorial Arena is available to rent after July 1, 2010 for special events. If you are interested in booking the Arena this Summer, please contact the Recreation for more information and rentals prices.

The Region of Queens Recreation Dept is also accepting requests for both regular (October 11th and after) and early season (until October 11th) ice time. Please contact the Recreation Dept. for more information.
